It comes vacuum packed so it takes a little time to fluff up. However, once it fluffed up, my dogs and even our cats loved lying on it. In the photo my dogs are 13 and 11 years old. I also have a Shiba so I had to order XL but the quality is ok and it's very soft. Haven't washed it yet but looks like it's going to be pretty easy to do.
