High quality and stylish bin

Very good bin. I debated buying this for about a year and finally bought it based on the recommendations and I wanted something that was recycled and junk together. The recycle bin is larger than the one I used to have at home and the recycle bin is only slightly smaller than our old recycle bin. I don't use a garbage bag, and while it fills up quickly, it's easy to pick up and take out to empty. Pros: It takes up less space than my other two tanks and looks a lot better. I get compliments on the trash can when people come by and it's funny when people comment on the trash can. Does a very good job of containing odors. I no longer notice a dirty smell when the lid is closed, you can smell it when you open the lid, but it stays closed very well. It feels really solid and I like that the lid closes quietly. Both containers are easy to grab and remove, and there's a small latch that clicks into place if you need to hold the lid open. Cons: It's expensive, I'm a little embarrassed to tell people how much it costs. I think a lot of people think it's crazy to spend so much money on a trash can. I honestly don't know why they cost so much but I don't regret spending the money on them as they are a very nice addition to the kitchen. I'm not a fan of the standard bags that come with it. They fit snugly in the bin, but they are too small for me and bags don't fit as much rubbish in the bin. I like to use Costco's regular 13g Kirkland bags because they allow you to pack more junk and you don't have to use as many bags as they last longer. You'll have to wrap the bag around the bin a bit to keep it from dangling, but you can make it work. The bin isn't much smaller than the previous one I had, but if you have a large bin, might it be a disadvantage for you that it's a bit smaller? If you can spend money on it, it's worth it. If you're on a budget, this is definitely something you can go without. This is a product that is more practical than necessary as there are much cheaper bins after that.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No mold required
