Review on Oreck XL8000 Upright Hypo Allergenic PK8000 9DW by Matthew Mrspeach

I have checked the model number of my Oreck vacuum against Revain's announcement of the required vacuum bags. The bags I received had the same matching/correct numbers. BUT. The cardboard plate on the back of the new bags, which is the attachment point, is NOT true to size! New bags do not have a sufficiently wide anchor plate. The bag doesn't want to stay. I now needed new bags so I had to use a Macgyver and cut the old bag's cardboard sheet as an adapter to attach the new bag to the vacuum cleaner hardware. I checked the model numbers and part numbers. I ordered the right part. So why don't they go together?
