Ideal for detecting moisture problems.
I bought these humidity and temperature sensors to install in several places in our house. The main part of the house is within acceptable ranges. Our conservatory that we built a few years ago now has a moisture problem. The high humidity initially forced us to work with people from our split air conditioner. The leak in the system was eliminated and the humidity level was slightly reduced. The monitor tells us that we're not done yet. Then comes the creeping air dryer. These monitors have helped us quantify our issues with professionals and give us peace of mind about our home. Can't confirm battery life as we've only had it a month.
