I bought this for my six year old daughter. She was interested in sewing and thought she would like to learn cross stitch. In general, the instructions are easy to follow. At the age of six she needed help but seemed to get it pretty quickly. It's a bit smaller than I expected, but it was mainly my fault for not reading the product details better. Overall I am completely satisfied with my purchase for the reason I bought it.
