As an electrical engineer, I was looking for a quick and easy way to connect pins for development. They're great for layout work, but not much more in my opinion. As far as the pins connect for the prototype, they work fine, but often fall apart due to loose connections. The heads also come off easily, causing many of them to break as well. Fine for a small project, but as far as daisy chains and permanent connections go, I'd suggest a wire wrap or other connector.
