I bought this yarn to wrap several balls of yarn. Also bought a Stanwood yarn winder to use with the Swift. Both are amazing! Well made and used together they made the task of wrapping my strands a pleasure. The strand can be wound into a ball in about 5 minutes with a central pull. A nice addition to your workshop, especially if you enjoy collecting specialty threads from high-end thread shops. Because these types of yarns are sold in skeins and not in skeins or center draw skeins. Yarn in large jars to keep it clean and moth free. Another bonus is that it will look great in your workshop too.
