I have XS in red. I'm 5ft tall, bust 39, waist 32, hips 41. Normally a full average figure. I usually aim for xs or s for jackets or outerwear. I choose a specific image. If I had an S, the two ends of the waist could come together, but that's not the look I want. I have a sexy red strapless jumpsuit that I feel is too revealing to wear alone, so this cover-up will help make it classy, sexy, and non-vampiric. I'm sensual but I don't want to show the world any sexual details. XS means my front waist is exposed 3-4 inches, but I'm fine with that. The 2 rows of ties at the front keep it in place and my jumpsuit is visible from the outside because of the waist opening. be clearly visible. I will have my tailor trim the sides of my thighs down to my ankles as I like to look slimmer. I think I would look big in the hips if I was an S or M. There was a comment saying it didn't look orange like the picture. True, but that's why I bought it. Since it didn't have any orange undertones, it went better with my vampire red jumpsuit. This outerwear allows me to use my jumpsuit on many other occasions including casual weddings and maybe some moderate places of worship as I am somewhat veiled. Note, however, that this is a see-through material. So if you wear it under a jumpsuit or shorts, avoid wearing it when you go to more conservative places and limit it to casual wear or wear pants or a dress that isn't too short.
