I bought this product because my Surface laptop often overheats. When the fan turned on, I had to turn the laptop over and wait for it to cool down. I started propping up the back with random things that came in handy and then I thought maybe I could buy something that will always be there. This little gadget works great, the fan never turned on during a hard day of music streaming and video conferencing. When the stand is laid flat, the computer wobbles a bit, but once your hands are placed in the typing position, it stabilizes. Don't know about durability yet, but would definitely buy a replacement when it wears out after a reasonable period of use.
