Review on Brushed Bathroom Lavatory Faucets for Commercial Use by Malik Munns

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Missing parts, bad packaging.

I have already shared the relevant link to return this product. The faucet came in a box with no packaging, NO packaging, packaging, etc., whatever. All of that was in the box. When I opened it there was a lot of rumbling from 5 other instruments someone had left there! It was a real sensation! The instructions were for a completely different faucet. There was no lever to raise the retractable drain assembly. Oh, and there was no hole in the faucet assembly for the retractable rod to pass through. That rod wasn't included either so I'm not sure how the pop up drain is supposed to work! The pull out drain WAS included and differed in configuration from the other pull out drains, but again there were no correct instructions on how this particular assembly was to be assembled and function properly. We need a faucet NOW so we don't have time to wait for answers and then send the parts we need. Follow-up: Speaking to a plumber the next day, he said that the pop-up drain mentioned above is likely one that works completely differently than a typical drain. It doesn't use a regular rod going through a faucet to move the drain plug up and down. Instead, it works by simply pressing on the cork itself, and then it "pops" that way; Then press again to bring it to the closed position. I never knew about such a plum! (and I'm 78 and have installed multiple sinks in my life!) As mentioned above, the included (and crumpled too!) instructions didn't look like a real faucet at all. If the CORRECT instructions for that particular faucet assembly were included, this 'small' detail could be addressed! Do you think?
