The cost of these cartridges is much lower than that of the well-known brands; However, it is much cheaper to buy a printer ink refill kit and do it yourself. I originally bought these as a plan B in case the printer refill kit didn't work. I still used them for printing and they worked fine; However, I didn't get much printing from them before my printer said they were empty and wouldn't print (HP Deskjet 480). I'd say it wasn't more than 10 intense color prints before he warned me. If you remove the sticker from the top you will see that they just bought old used cartridges, used the printer refill kit and resold them for a profit. Not a bad deal, but the printer refill kit is a lot better. If you don't want the hassle of a refill kit I would use these, but be aware that they may not last long depending on how much ink the person who filled them used used.
