I bought this camera solely for use as a DVR / helmet cam when riding a motorcycle. Video quality is good and license plates are legible in daylight, not so much in the dark unless you're really close. The battery lasts about 2 hours, maybe a little longer. I have an extra 1500mAh battery that gives me about 8 hours of riding on a single charge. I like the helmet shape of this camera better than the GoPro style camera. It's smoother and doesn't stretch as much + less wind resistance. It also works well as an action cam, although I don't use it for that purpose. In general I am very satisfied with the quality and the price of the camera. Although I was hoping to get more than one adhesive mount with it. I bought 5 more packs of mounts for $20. A little overpriced for what they are but now I have what I need.
