Difficult to get started and very difficult for kids to get started but when they do it's quite fun. This is our first drone and while we haven't switched to buzzing yet, it held the kids' attention for about half an hour, which is pretty good for such a complex toy. I wouldn't say it falls into the same category as real drones, but in my opinion it looks pretty cool and flies pretty well. But like I said, I'm new to drones so I have nothing to compare. The controls took a while to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be flying in no time. Good for your first drone. I'm not sure I have a second because I don't understand what all the fuss is about. But for twenty dollars it was worth it.
