To be honest we used it on the Echelon Indoor Fitness Bike. The clamping mechanism on the handle is very reliable and has not changed one iota since it was installed. It is based on twisting the grip until the houndstooth clip attaches to the bike handlebar. I tried to push and pull him but he didn't move. The phone holder part is good and can also be adjusted vertically or horizontally after installation. The phone is held by the sides, but they also have straps that can be worn around the edges of the phone for a more secure hold. I believe this is very useful for cross-country travel. The woman's iPhone x fits the straps very well. However, my s20 ultra is quite large, above the 6.5-inch specs listed for this product, and it still fits in a case. However, this doesn't allow the straps to extend past the edges, so I don't think an oversized phone in a bag would be as secure on outdoor cruises. At the same time, the stripes along the edges are just extra insurance, not essential for a good grip. Overall, I would recommend a quality, value for money product.
