[UPDATE 3 months later]: Torras customer service contacted me with a request to send me an updated version of the replacement suction cup. I said sure why not try. Received in the mail and installed in 2-3 days. So far I like the design of the new cup and it seems more solid. But time will tell if the newly installed tape can withstand the heat and rough roads. For now though, it's 5* for customer service. [Previous Rating 3*] This is a good product but for $26 I was expecting a good mounting tape. I like the fact that it includes two attachment mechanisms: through the air vent or on the dash, and the design is versatile enough to easily switch between the two. However, I definitely need a dash mount on bumpy roads, and the included tape just doesn't work. My phone fell even faster than when attached to the vent. I ended up spending a few bucks more to buy some strong Gorilla double-sided mounting tape and attach it to the dash. It does point out that this can be difficult to remove later, but I absolutely have to keep the phone steady. The last thing I want is for my phone to fly and hit the emergency light button - which unfortunately happened to me when I was using the original timeline.
