Clean Big Dowel
I ordered this to build 2 jet engines for the A-10 wooden toy airplane. Worked very well. The plan was to use a 1" round drill bit to make a 2" diameter. Wood stock engines. One of those bits is pretty much $$ and I wouldn't use it often. I found it much easier. There were a few small 1/4" x 2" wooden plugs in the dowel to appear to fill in the knot holes, but most of the dowel was very clean and fit me perfectly. Difficult to find a home center this large and probably not of this high quality.
