For reference, I am 5'6' and 135lbs and I ordered a size small. They fit just as I expected them to. The high waist band is super flattering and the built in underwear is not too small. These do have one pocket on the left side that zips. I normally wear these shorts to workout in but I did wear them to an amusement park and the pocket was big enough for me to put my phone in while on rides and not worry about it falling out. I am going to buy these in more colors!
