Review on 🔒 Dorman Door Lock Actuator Motor (Part No. 746-259) for Chrysler/Dodge/Ram: Enhanced Security & Convenience by Charlie Powell

This fits perfectly on my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan without power sliding doors. It worked great. The installation is technically very simple. I made a mistake that took my brain some time to figure out (which made me angry). Here it is: A lever on the actuator slides over the top of the latch mechanism in the door, and I missed it for 30 minutes on a project that should only take 30 minutes at a high level. Once I got over it, which was annoying, the item worked like clockwork and continues to work great. There are no instructions as it is quite simple. You can find video demos on YouTube. You will need a drill and a bit of going through the metal on the door to get to a set screw which I lost in the door shaft and just used a new screw from my boxes of assorted screws, nuts, bolts and washers .
