I bought this clipper a few months ago and December 2915 so I had the opportunity to test the reliability and quality of this clipper. I received this hair clipper in the mail and the box was a little wrinkled when I opened the package, the item has also been opened before. As I pulled each piece out of the kit, I noticed that they were missing the number one blade (or hairline). The company partially refunded the money and I was able to purchase a new manual to replace the missing one. After that I liked the clippers and got my first haircut. I used clippers to trim my hair and after just two passes I noticed a very even cut leaving very little clogging. The clipper blades were quite sharp and did the job. I then used the same clippers on the faded hair, which came out phenomenal. When I was done trimming I cleaned and oiled them and then used the trimmers to finish. They were also very sharp and allowed me to professionally clean my neck and sideburn burns. I also let the professional hairstylist have a say and he said that the clippers and trimmers were of "decent" quality and did the job. He wouldn't give up his more expensive Andis clippers, but said he wouldn't mind using them on location if his other clippers failed. Overall I can rate these clippers based on my personal experience and durability having used them twice a month for the last 7 months. There are a few things I can suggest for this clipper to get a five star rating and they are as follows: A lighter clipper (because these clippers are a bit heavy but the trimmers are perfect and light), would I also adjust the trimmer blades to cut even closer to the skin for a better shape or cleaner look and finally I would add a case to hold the clippers and trimmers with the appropriate guides. But for the price you can't beat it and the quality is there with this product and you won't be disappointed.
