Review on Dell 452 BCYT: Ultimate Universal Adjustable Response IPS Monitor by Alan Reels

It worked great, but is now not very suitable for photo editing

Short answer: worked great until the September 2020 driver update we just received and now we can't profile connected monitors (for photo editing). If you don't mind that, this is a very good docking solution. If so, then it won't work. As of early May 2020, when connected via a DisplayPort cable to a Dell XPS 15 and two Samsung 27" (2560 x 1444) monitors, the two monitors were working but not the laptop screen or the laptop screen and neither monitors, so we kept the screen closed enough to turn off the screen. Since the computer was used for photo editing, including portraits, we used a ColorMunki photo spectrometer and color profiling software. Everything OK. Now the end of October is approaching and the system is down and could not be recovered. Dell checked the hardware and found everything to be fine, so prompted me to download a new factory disk image. The computer, as far as he knows, is brand new. After a week of installing software, Windows updates, Dell updates, etc., two monitors connected to the D6000 now work simultaneously with the laptop's built-in screen. Only one problem - we can't create a monitor for a long time

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for older people
