Link 2 Cell Phones-Voice Activation-Call Blocking-Speaking Caller ID-No Landline Required-Paging-Intercom So far so good. Just got my settings. Bought rose gold. Great color! I replaced the VTech system. The VTech system upgrades kept failing and the batteries were $60! This one uses 4 rechargeable AAA batteries, 2 in each phone. We hope that the extensions work the same as the base system. The only problem I might have is if the power goes out. There is no backup battery for the answering machine so I don't know if the power will turn on or if the settings and messages that were there when the power went off will remain. I'll update this when it happens. I like systems a lot. Fast ship! acceptable price. You can purchase additional tubes to add up to 6 more UPDATE: The power went out twice this morning! Luckily the phone saved the messages and any previous settings I entered! I am very satisfied, now I know! Excellent system!
