Easy to Use…Until it Breaks

Worked like a charm for almost exactly a year. The rubber grommets on the side of the basket grating will quickly get lost, but that never seemed to affect its function. That waited until a year after purchase: just happily frying some tater tots for dinner and it just quit. No overheat, no warning, just died in the middle of the cooking cycle. Tried taking it apart to see if there was a loose connection, and did notice that the power cord was too s
