I don't usually write reviews but I think this is worth mentioning for all dog owners. I'm not even sure how to rate this because I have a few friends who have had success with this including a dog's cancerous eye that went away but came back many months later so this seems to be working but no cure . . Look out for the side effects first. This can lead to swollen lymph nodes in dogs. This happened to my dog. After my 8 year old dog died of cancer, I started giving Essiac to two other dogs. One does not seem to have any side effects, however the other has developed swollen glands in the neck and shoulder/chest area. my dog. I was told that she might have lymphoma or other serious illnesses. They performed a fine-needle aspiration - to no avail, which is why they recommended a biopsy of the lymph node. After worrying for 10 days that my dog might die they told me it wasn't cancer but they really couldn't figure out why it was happening. Her lymph nodes continued to swell even after a few courses of antibiotics. After a few months I realized that I started giving her Essiac at just the time this started. I stopped giving her 3 days ago and no more swollen lymph nodes. Just wanted to share, save you all the worries and huge vet bills. Please be careful.
