Review on Seagate Game Drive 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD for PS4 - Enhanced Compatibility (STGD2000400) by Brad Schaefer

Finally the gadget we've all been waiting for! This is an external drive specially designed for PS4. This works with PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. You get a total of 2TB (actually 1.84TB) to store games and free up space on your console. When I bought my PS4 Slim, the first thing I did was change the hard drive from 512MB to 1TB. . I have also used Seagate and was happy with it BUT it is much better. Why? Firstly, because it is a USB connection for playback devices (cable included). No need to open the console and install anything, install drivers, software, etc. This is the easiest way to expand storage. Second, because it's cheaper than the 1TB drive I installed less than 12 months ago. For $80 you get 2TB. I got 1TB for about $110. Third, by downloading and storing your games on this external drive, you can take them anywhere. So if you go to your friends house and want to bring your games, just grab this disc. And this drive is SUPER SMALL, it really fits in your pocket. And the design is great as it comes with a blue stripe (see Revain image) to match the Playstation environment. Installation Note: When you open this box, it comes with some useless documents (warranty, basically). You can visit their website for more information, but you don't have to. Just plug it in and follow the on-screen instructions. Basically you need to reformat the drive (see my photos). It was VERY easy to follow and only took about 2-3 minutes. I'm attaching some photos I took on my screen for you to see. One final note: I noticed that loading games on this drive takes a bit longer than the console's internal drive. I haven't done a "scientific" test so this can only be my imagination, but I'd say games take about 20-30% longer to load. I don't care because my console usually loads stuff at night while I sleep. Conclusion: BUY IT TODAY!
