Review on Stride Rite Sneaker Truffle Toddler Boys' Shoes : Sneakers by Chris Russell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We miss those stride rituals.

We got into the rites of the step from a young age when the first pair of shoes that would soon walk our sons had an SR of Destiny. But then when my son got a few sizes older and started walking, we knew we had to keep buying this brand because it's so comfortable for his big and wide feet. He LOVES to jump and bounce so we needed a shoe that would allow him to balance on the ground really well. Most tennis shoes from other sports brands have very thick soles that are not flexible (and most brands are too narrow for most chubby kids). feet!), so it's like your toddler is wearing platform shoes that only swing front to back. But if you notice the SR, the sole is wider and has these balance and grip "nodes" that distribute body weight evenly across the sole of the foot. Much better for balance and for our little bouncing ball :) yes they are expensive. Get the right size or 1/2 size bigger so they grow a little but you won't regret buying these things. Our little one wears them every day and they let him play in the water and tug his toe to slow down on his scooter. These shoes are amazing, just like roller brakes! Haha It's a good idea to spray them with tennis shoe protectors before your kid starts wearing them just to protect them from abuse.
