We in Germany have a handcart for everyone who has a child. When I was a kid they were made out of wood and some steel pipes. Nowadays folding wagons are used. I also had a collapsible station wagon, but it often broke. I did a lot of repairs before I started looking for something more permanent. Since I couldn't find anything that met my expectations, I ordered this one from the US. I paid $270 including shipping and import taxes. The van finally arrived today after a week and I assembled it in 20 minutes. I'm not happy with the wheels as they don't have ball bearings. It would also be nice if the wheels were solid rubber so I didn't have to worry about flat tires. What worries me the most is that the station wagon is not quiet. The structure for supporting the rear wheels consists of several parts that are not rigidly connected. It would be easy to fix with rubber washers or industrial glue, but once the wheels are in place, you can't remove them without damaging the caps that hold the wheels. There is a spare hat. I wish there were two of these. Maybe I'll order new caps and fix the connection. Although this van doesn't quite live up to my expectations, I still hope it will outlast collapsible vans. My twin girls love it.
