Review on Keyboard Logitech MX Keys black, English by Wiktor Niekrasz ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, everything is not bad, but I expected more.

After using the keyboard for a whole month, I came to the conclusion that there is nothing exceptional about it. Indeed, it is of high quality, but several of its "features" are severely lacking in quality.

Pros
  • -Looks nice. Typing is enjoyable, however I wish the pushing had a bit more give to it. -An audible but inaudible click. -Will not move about on the table when in use. - The time required for charging is substantial. A charge is applied once every few weeks on average. My time at the computer each day ranges from three to four hours. - There is a backlight, and the level of brightness that it emits can be changed. -The ESC key is big and in a very convenient location (I never realized how frequently I click on it). -Simply tapping a key will allow you to switch between the several PCs. -You have the ability to assign specific actions to a variety of different keys, such as opening "This PC" or cmd or a browser or closing a window, among other things.
Cons
  • If you take your hands off the keyboard for more than seven seconds, the backlight will turn itself off automatically. Because it blinks over and over again, it drives me absolutely bonkers. The developers did not make provision for this feature, despite the fact that I would like the backlight to be active at all times. When switching to a computer running Windows 10, there is no delay when using the keyboard, whereas when switching to a computer running Ubuntu, there is a wait of five seconds. In general, Ubuntu does not make the most of the capabilities of the keyboard. -Alongside the little left shift is a key that serves no purpose. I feel uncomfortable. -Characters from different layouts (Windows and Mac) appear on the digital row, but they have the same size and color, which can be confusing. -We require an additional brush stand. -The backlight will automatically switch off if there is another light source nearby, such as a table lamp, and it will not be possible to turn it back on! Although it is obvious that there is a light, and although I am able to see all of the keys even without the backlighting turned on, I would still prefer for it to be on. Always.
