Makes the Apple Remote workable
Without this great product, the Apple Remote is too small for my hands and the smooth surface is too slippery. Also, it's impossible to tell which side it's clinging to without looking very closely. This case eliminates all of those issues: there's haptic feedback on which side the touchpad is on without you having to look; has a pleasant to the touch surface; and is a good size that doesn't slip between your fingers but doesn't make the remote too bulky either. It is also quite resistant to dirt and stains.
