Review on KitchenAid Coated Flat Beater: A Superior Tool for Effortless Mixing in the Kitchen by Shah Jones

Fits our 15+ year old Kitchenaide blender.

April 4, 2020 Review Update: Well they always say "the older the better” and I definitely agree on that point. Our 16+ year old Kitchenaide mixer still runs like a champ, but the replacement coated flat beater lasted less than a year (if so, maybe used once a week!). I bought it in June 2019 and my mother showed me where the coating is chipping (much thinner than the original). I was really hoping it would last longer! It took 15 years of use (around Thanksgiving, Christmas, it was used heavily, HARDLY used! Dozens of batches of biscuits, biscuits, mainly for gifts every year) before the original whisk showed little wear. Very disappointed. Not that I have much choice now, I'll have to buy another one or find another 'elsewhere'. Not that it matters, it's all foreign-made shit. Purchase at your own risk. It will not take long. Well, after 15+ years and probably millions of turns, the original paddle has started to wear out and shows a tiny speck of metal. So I figured it was time for a new one. It works and I can only hope it lasts a few years. I don't expect it to last as long as the original (unless it was made here in the USA and I threw away the box so I don't remember), currently nothing lasts as long as it should. I'm happy with that.
