Recently a pair of my Jaybird Bluetooth headphones broke; Sound came out of one ear only. In this regard, I went in search of a replacement and tried several options as I am very picky about the sound quality and comfort of the headphones. At work in a research lab, I wear headphones 6-8 hours a day. My requirements are more demanding than most others. Please understand that these comments refer to my demanding usage settings. Pros: 1) Headphones are comfortable for long wearing sessions. It has been an average of four hours since I received them. I added Comply (brand) memory foam ear tips to the headphones to improve their comfort. I would recommend active users to do the same. Standard headphones are comfortable for shorter sessions, maybe up to two hours. This is very subjective, but in any case I can say that the headset is comfortable and light. 2) The sound quality is comparable to my previous Jaybird headphones and maybe even better in some aspects. The soundstage is wider and deeper, providing an excellent listening experience for many types of music and podcasts. The bass is balanced and the highs aren't "tinny" or "howling". Overall I'm very impressed as the sound is on par with (or maybe better than) my old $130 headphones. 3) Noise cancellation is excellent. Several times I didn't hear anyone call my name at work. While this may be disabled for some users, this is preferable for my noisy and chaotic usage preferences. 4) The battery is good, I have enough for 6 hours. I'll let you know if I run into problems with longer sessions. Charging is done via the micro USB port. Charging cable included. Cons: Standard headphones could use some improvement for comfort. This is a minor complaint and very subjective. I was able to easily switch tooltips to third-party options. Please note that I am exceptionally picky and this experience is most likely uncharacteristic for the average user. Overall I am very happy with this headset. I'm currently trying other options, but it's possible that this one will become my 'daily driver' for the foreseeable future.
