I bought this item for my class to help my quiet kids. As stated in the product description, this is a Bluetooth receiver only, so cannot transmit audio. I was upset about this but decided to buy it anyway as anything was better than nothing. When I got it it was fine at max volume, but I was dying to use my cool speakers. On its own it was loud, could reflect echoes and connected very easily. But I just needed it a little louder. After thinking about the problem, I decided to buy two Bluetooth receivers/transmitters for $20 each. You either want to make sure it's both a receiver and a sender, or get a receiver and a sender. I made sure my microphone was set to transmit and my classroom speakers were set to receive. They teamed up and BOOM! Now I can play my voice through external speakers! So there is a way to connect to other external speakers to make your voice louder!
