This device controls one or more Lutron Caseta Switches. In the image above, the first three switches, starting from the left, are various forms of Luton switches. The item on the right is one of these remote controls. It is used to provide a third point of light control in the living room without additional wiring. I installed another block in the hallway. If I walk into my bedroom and notice that the lights in the courtyard are still on, I can push a button and all six lights in the courtyard go out. The price is cheap because of the added ease of control where you need it, compared to the $250 electricians charge to add a traditional switch.
