Lift Kit Worth Buying

Let me start by saying that the before and after photos I have posted should give you a good idea of how cool your car will look with this kit. So let me give you a good one - firstly the kit comes with everything you need and you can reuse many of your original nuts and bolts. especially at the back for U-bracket. The processing of the lift is very good and I cannot understand the negative reviews that paint a different picture. The reality is that building such a kit is not rocket science. I installed this on a 1998 TXT and didn't have to modify anything or run to the hardware store for something extra. Put simply - what you get is all you need. The kit was fairly basic in terms of instructions and where everything fits, but installing the YouTube EZGO Lift Kit is highly recommended. This will help you navigate certain aspects of what fits where or what you need to do for the installation. You don't need to use insanely expensive impact tools for the installation, but you do need a tie rod disconnect, a set of deep sockets, 2 to 4 jacks, and a good jack. than the original in my shopping cart. That meant I'd probably be better off fitting an extra bushing to fill the gap, but I decided against it. Why? Well, as soon as you put the spindle on the new drop axle with the original parts, I found that after tightening the gap, enough was closed that it wasn't necessary, although I was able to add it easily. So consider it optional. The instructions were literally two pages long, and at first there were only pictures of details. However, I felt that they explained things well enough, but it is imperative that you watch the video. The biggest problem will be the rear end as you will need to completely remove the drive springs and raise the axle to safely work with it. I would like to point out that I did not have to modify, drill or alter the kit. I found this to be a great inexpensive lift kit that got the job done.
