I used this product to apply rubber caulk to the cement in my garage where the door meets the floor. It was a direct process. First, pre-position the strip where you want it to fit and mark the position if necessary. Then clean the area where the glue will be applied. After I attached and cleaned the test strip, 1 tube was just enough to get 2 thick beads 16 feet span. Then I carefully placed the strip on the tip. It's a pretty gentle process. Take the time you need. This particular liability is not a mega permanent type that cannot be undone. If needed I can pull the strip up from the ends and scrape off the adhesive. Also due to the lack of airflow between the strip and the concrete and the low temperatures when I did this it took about 10 days for the material to fully dry/cure. In my case, the garage door helps the lane and I didn't drive the car in and out of the garage. All things to keep in mind when using this for that. It's been a month now and the strip is holding up well. The adhesion seems to be doing its job.
