This grip is perfect for Small Rig and Neweer cages for my R5 and R6 models. The rubberized grip is exceptionally comfortable and prevents me from slipping when holding my video rig for both cameras. The locking pins not only keep the handle perfectly aligned, but also prevent it from twisting during use. Note that I didn't have instructions so I wasn't sure when to use the pad, but I went back to the product page and found a video that cleared this up for me. There are magnets on the handle to hold the spacer when not in use. It would be nice if they also made a slot to store the allen key because you need it to tighten the handle on the cage. I'll probably lose it. The handle has a cold shoe mount for attaching a flashlight or microphone. It also comes in handy if you decide to mount the grip on your camera's hot shoe. The included adapter also allows you to attach the grip to your camera's tripod mount, meaning you can also use it with a GoPro. Overall I'm very happy with it. highlighted.
