The perfect blade for the shape of the handle gives a fine and precise cutting angle. Nice heavy weight and solid construction, feels good in the hand (not too flimsy and not small). I used mine within hours of receiving it and couldn't be happier. The only thing I didn't like was how smooth (almost slippery) the grip was, I took 60 grit and roughed it up a bit and now I have a much stronger and more secure grip. Despite the fact that this is a very beautiful knife, what struck me most was its exceptional sharpness and ease of use. I look forward to many years of use with it! Worth the money as it should last a lifetime (it's so well made)! If you are looking for a paring knife that will last for years and is extremely versatile, then this is for you.
