Review on CuleedTec Sliding Safety Window Adhesive Safety by Trini Tremblay

I originally chose this item because I have two sliding doors in my home and two little girls who have learned to open them when I'm not watching them and have seen it help alleviate this problem solve. On arrival I was optimistic as I thought I would get one but it was actually a 4 pack so I was very excited. However, when I took it out of the box, I noticed almost immediately that the instructions on the back were VERY vague in terms of translation. I've looked at the pictures and read the instructions multiple times to figure out WHERE exactly I should place this on the sliding door so it locks, but I couldn't figure it out exactly. At first I thought it was supposed to go under the sliding door lock itself, but it didn't work. So I tried to see if it would fit behind the door where the other glass should be to keep it from sliding (acts like a kind of latch on the opening front glass), but then the thickness doesn't matter. leave the doors open After trying and trying for 30 minutes I gave up and didn't even bother. Overall I would not recommend them. The installation instructions are very vague and incomprehensible. I've followed vague instructions and even tried to see what other reviewers did with the install, but they all give a general overview that isn't helpful when installing. I think I would be better off using a stick behind the door or some sliding door system lock other than this one. I had high hopes but they just let me down.
