Review on 🏑 Prominence Home Auletta Outdoor Ceiling Fan - 52” ETL Damp Rated, 4 Blades, LED Frosted Contemporary Light Fixture, Matte Black by Rachel Streater

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Quiet and adequately ventilated

Easy to install as long as you don't hang the fan BEFORE installing the blades. I would pay a large ransom and drop the private part to watch someone hang the fan THEN try to install the blades as the instructions say. Good luck with it! I read the reviews where they complained about the low hum from the day you installed it? My soft whisper I've read reviews complaining about "chemical smell". Yes, this fan has an odd smell but I don't think it will last long and for me it's installed in the garage so I'm not overly concerned about that. Pros: The fan moves enough air. , has a nice modern look, easy to install apart from the problem with the slats, has a good bright light and is reasonably priced. Cons: Fan balance is TERRIBLE right out of the box! I tried every blade and was only able to balance them by using 1 weight on the edge of the blade on one blade and then the same on the next blade. Even then, at altitude, it wobbles a bit. This probably isn't a huge issue for most people, but I build high performance engines and finding the right balance is absolutely key to durability, so I'm a bit worried. Another issue is that the screws are made of some sort of sheet metal, so unforgiving. worn screwdriver. Make sure you are standing squarely on the screw and I would not use power tools to install. The screws aren't magnetic either, which tells you everything you need to know about them. Those were the only reasons I deducted a star. Otherwise a normal fan for the money. I'll come back in a while and leave a comment on durability and whatnot.
