Review on 🌱 Enhance Aquarium Growth with Seachem Flourish Excel Bioavailable Carbon by Victoria Robinson

I bought this to kill Black Beard Algae (BBA) in my aquarium. An added benefit is that my plants LOVE the extra nutrients (which is probably why I used BBA in the first place). When treating with BBA, be sure to turn off all filters, pumps, and aerators first, then use a 1mL syringe to dose over the BBA, wait 10 minutes, then turn pumps back on, etc Attempting to treat the BBA while the water is moving is not nearly as efficient. I am treating BBA at the recommended dose about every 1-2 days for my 20 gallons (and reducing my light on time from 10 hours to 7 hours) and I am seeing significant improvement. DO NOT OVERDOSE when treating algae. Simply use the recommended amount and only treat small areas at a time. Algae turn red when they die, and you algae lovers take care of the rest.
