Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ HATCHBOX Precision Non Brittle Photopolymer Printing: Enhanced Accuracy and Durability for Fine Detail Output by Chris Peck

Well, it's Hatchbox

Hatchbox is a well-known brand in the world of FDM 3D printing, usually one of the first to be recommended when the question "which filament is better?" a question appears. With a solid reputation behind her, expectations are high for her resin. As usual for a new resin, I ran the R_E_R_F (Resin Exposure Rangefinder) test on my AnyCubic Mono X and quickly found a reliable setting (see ). For the model, I used Bes' Egyptian Cosmetic Vessel, courtesy of Scan The World. The print came out great, no adhesion issues or other weird artifacts. The supports came off easily and after cleaning with Mean Green and IPA the model was ready to cure. Unlike several resins I've tried, the model didn't feel sticky after cleaning. There were no problems curing (see attached video) so it was ready for painting. Before painting I intentionally pushed the model out of the frame and dropped it on the floor - no damage. Overall, Hatchbox turned out to be a good pitch. There were no problems and the smell is not as intense as others. The price is about average and not down or up like their filament. If there's one thing I would change about it, it's the plastic bottle. The wide neck is great but it doesn't have the cork that other brands have. Also, I really prefer metal bottles, having snapped the cap on a few other bottles.
