I have tried using ratchet straps to attach refrigerators to the front of a truck on long trips in the past. They tended to slide, rattle, push out coolers, etc. This thing is a game changer. It quickly and easily attaches refrigerators to the front of the bed and keeps them in place. It works whether the cool boxes are full or empty. I've used this on many backcountry hunting trips, about 100 hours of driving in all, and it's always worked. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
