Review on Kichler 12212BZ Cabinet Strip/Bar Light with Two Lights by Jeff Richmond

Kichler is an excellent lighting company to my knowledge and we have enjoyed the quality and style of their other products in the past. And so I was very surprised when recently one of the light bulbs in our four-light lamp suddenly exploded. It was on the high or bright setting when it exploded. We've typically used it on lower settings, which is bright enough for under-cabinet lighting. This very good looking light comes at a very low price but I wouldn't recommend it based on our experience. One last thing to mention is a small crack or air space between the outside of the clear glass and the metal case that caused small pieces of the shattered bulb to fall into our food area when it exploded. I don't want to be an alarmist but it could actually be quite dangerous and dangerous for our health.
