When the blade dulls don't throw it away, with a little work you can change its purpose with a Dremel tool and turn it into straight blades and a soft material scratch point. With a grinder and cutting wheel on a Dremel you can also make beautiful spiral blades that are great for thin plastic, paper and similar materials.
