After gaining some experience with using a tablet with a 10-inch screen, I came to the realization that this size is not practical for day-to-day use, particularly when used outside the home. However, the smaller form factor of the iPad mini is it! Even when it is in its case, it is neither cumbersome or heavy; it can be carried in a purse or briefcase with ease and can be held with one hand without difficulty. Everything functions considerably more quickly and clearly in comparison to the Android tablets I've worked with up to this point. The scrolling of lists is seamless, and the screens change very quickly. At first, I found it frustrating because I couldn't easily transfer files from my computer to the tablet. However, I've come to realize that this is not a deal breaker, especially considering that I'm already familiar with iTunes. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to know that Android-based gadgets do not support the vast majority of accessible add-ons.
