To be honest these earrings look pretty cute and I love the idea of a drop of freshwater pearl under the ring. My wife loves pearls and I love hoop earrings. However, when they arrived the freshwater pearl was quite warped on each side, with a large crease running down most of the pearl (an example is somewhat visible in the photos if you look closely). So the earrings didn't really look like what I want to give my wife. In the end I sent them back. Others may be able to appreciate the flatness on one side of the pearl created by the crease by paying attention to how you put on the earrings and aligning each one correctly.
