My children are blessed (in my opinion and cursed in their opinion) to have heads full of thick, beautiful hair. Some of them also have curly hair. They all absolutely hate taking care of their hair. Especially my two younger ones who tend to wake up confused. (One has curly hair and the other has straight hair) We spent a small fortune on different hair products and combs to find one that worked. Especially brushes. When I saw this on Revain I decided to give it a try. When I received it I have to admit I was less than impressed. The box looked like some kind of flea market, the brush wasn't impressed either. Again it was only ten dollars. Aesthetics aside, I tried. It comes with a piece of plastic that stabilizes the brush. The brush has notches on the tips of the parts that hold the bristles; This allows you to determine which setting works best for your hair. The fastener part looked a bit strange. I was afraid I would break it. I put it on, went and had a baby. Oddly enough, it worked pretty well. My son's hair falls just below his shoulders and is literally three inches or more thick. His hair needs to be cut in order to comb it properly. I'm happy to report that this brush was able to go all the way in one go. He very carefully separated the tiny knots and tangles that always hurt so much. Does not pull or tear hair. It doesn't get stuck there. It glides very well. I wasn't expecting much when I bought the brush. I figured it would probably end up in the back of the box or be thrown away. I'm so thankful I was wrong.
