I bought this soap after looking for a while for a liquid soap that is easy to use in soap dispensers and still does a real cleaning job. Many common liquid soaps are high in chemicals that are caustic and clog dispensers, so a neutral PH soap is best. However, PH neutral soap does not provide good hand cleaning as it is specifically too mild and not meant to be used as hand soap. This combination of soap ingredients and amount seems to strike a good balance to not damage soap pumps and still clean well enough. It's certainly not pH neutral, but close enough, it's very soft on the hands and soap pumps handle it fairly well while still providing good cleansing and lightness on the skin. The aroma is subtle, very mild smell that does not hurt the nostrils, but smells very pleasant
