I'm glad these gauges have some weight - they are the opposite of the thin plastic gauges commonly used. I once broke a flimsy plastic pressure gauge while checking tire pressure, and the pieces got caught in the glasses I wore (I always wear goggles when working on anything because it's better to be safe to go). Since then I've avoided flimsy models. Both valve-loc gauges were accurate compared to my auto mechanic's gauge. They all gave the same reading.
