Review on Dough Mixers Electric Kitchen Machine by Ben Cooper

Another type of blender

When I saw this I was a little confused because it seemed like it was just a blender with a different design. I also did some research and saw that there are some other domiciles that actually ferment the batter when heated, but this one just mixes and needs. It had 2 speeds and can be turned on or off. You can set it to stir for up to 10 minutes at a time, and it does a good job of adding ingredients to a good batter. It's about as loud as a desktop mixer, around 80dB. The BIG NEGATIVE is that when you try to make multiple batches it stops working and it takes about an hour to cool down before it works again. I'm not sure why they couldn't fix this problem. If you're only making one batch, you probably won't run into this problem. I decided to make some buns out of it (70% moisture) and the large bowl was great for making one big chunk of dough. 10 minutes and the dough is ready to rise. The advantage over a conventional food processor is that the lid has no holes and is airtight to prevent the dough from drying out. It is smaller and lighter than a stand mixer. If you're making a lot of batter this is definitely worth checking out instead of using a stand mixer. However, if you have a stand mixer, you probably won't need it.
