We have two Honeywell humidifiers, one of which we replaced with an OE filter and the other with a Durabasics filter. After using the humidifiers overnight for several weeks and refilling them daily, there is more water in the reservoir of the Durabasics filtered humidifier compared to a Honeywell filtered humidifier. A humidifier with a Durabasics filter releases less moisture overnight. We will not buy these again. Although they are significantly thicker and appear more durable, they don't absorb as much water. This was done with soaking before use each night and flipping the filter orientation each night.
